Has committed to Baylor...ughhhh!
Yep it a shocker but that open it for Kayla Owens and Patterson.I think OU will get one of them .
It happen normally after player get hurt or they signed a better player. It a verbal commitment until the player sign NLI.Just because she commits doesn't mean she gets a scholarship in the end. They still have the option of offering whoever that prefer. This has time to actually play out, so it is not clear who Baylor - or any other team - actually signs.
Do players ever commit before they are guaranteed a scholarship? I assume so. I have even heard of teams offering a scholarship, having the player commit, then later it gets announced (usually with hurt feelings on one side) that they "mutually decided" to go a different direction.

That's the way it goes..the rich keep getting richerAwesome addition to our team that just keeps getting more loaded!!
She has time to work on her jump shot, that's where she'll need to improve to see the floor at Baylor...
As usual you on the money. Do you think Patterson and Owen will both go to UCLA as a package deal? Her jump shot improved by 21% in a matter of a year. After watching her for the last 3 years I can tell the shot is even different......she now shoots more like a guy with a very high release. Shot close to 50% from the field and close to 40% from the 3 point line. Someone is putting the work in with her in the gym to make that type of improvement.
Kayla Owens I think is down to Texas A&M and UCLA seems like, but I would bet money she's at A&M.
Chasity Patterson released a list of Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Texas, UCLA, and Kentucky. She has removed UofH which was a surprise but after talking to them.....Oklahoma has a real chance at getting her. If I had to pick it would A&M first with Oklahoma a close second with her

I really appreciate all the people who post here, especially SoonerNorm.
I have a request to make. When a big time player commits to another team, I would prefer that the title of the post announcing it would state what happened rather than just the name of the recruit.
Ir pains me to open the tread and read "has committed to ______", if it is not OU. If I am the only one that is bothered by this then no problem.
Again it is not my intent to be critical of you Norm. I appreciate what you do.
