Do we know that Maddie will be back next year?

Yes she is coming back next year, I would be surprised if she came back for a sixth season, year after though.

I think a sixth year may depend on what Maddie sees after the fifth. We don't really know what Maddie's plans for the future might be. She may want to see the world. She may want to play pro ball. She may want to coach. A lot depends on what Maddie thinks her goals are.

If Manning plays a 6th year I think she would head to a new school most GS do it seem... I would say Iowa so she could be closer to home.

If she goes to another school for a 6th year, it will have to be a school that
is willing to give her a one year scholarship. I think that limits her opportunities, so if she wants to go to a specific place, it may be difficult.

How do the rules work for that regarding sitting out a year for a transfer for a 6th year student?

I think it all depends upon what she wants to do next regarding a career. If after this year, she has her graduate degree which I would think she would, especially if it is true that she came in with 30 plus college credits (have no idea, just saw posted somewhere); then she will be working towards another degree or on a doctorate. I do not know her but I just don't see her wanting to
play/be here for 6 years. I just hope she has a plan for when she graduates. Hope they all do.
