(I post this here as a "heads-up" to fellow loyal OU basketball fans.)

There is a CHANCE that I will have two prime lower level All-Session tickets to the Big-12 men's tournament in Kansas City. These tickets will become available if a friend of mine cannot make the trip.

IF these All-Session tickets do, in fact, become available, then my friend wants to sell them for face value to an OU fan.

However, he only wants to sell if the buyer is an OU fan that promises to use the tickets to go to the games in Kansas City.

Face value for two All-Session tournament tickets is $720 ($360 each). These are prime seats in Section 106.

I should know if the tickets are available by the end of this week.

I am disqualified from your proposal, but my dad who is an OU fan/alum/booster might be interested.

If the two of you want to go, I'm sure that would be OK. Me and my dad went to our first Big-8 Tournament at Kemper Arena back in the 70s when Dave Bliss was the OU coach. We then made 18 of the next 20 Tournaments, until my dad was no longer able to go.

They sound like nice tickets but if I go my price range is in the nosebleeds.

This is a great deal for anyone who is interested...those tickets on Friday night if KU/MU/ISU/KSU make it to the semifinals will be in HIGH demand.

If I could take a week off of work every year this would totally be something I'd want to do, regardless of where the tourney was held.

It's something I'll have to convince my husband to do when we retire... in like 40 years. :(

class move trav ... i wish i could go this year .. but i can not

Good stuff Traveler. Thanks for putting that together.

I would propose that $720 spent on an iPad 3 would bring a Sooner fan more pleasure. Watch us get beat on espn3.

Well, I would never sell and I repeat NEVER SELL to a KU fan, so that would really limit the price I could get.

It will be great to see the ISU contingent in KC in full force though. They have a chance this year.

You will probably be able to count on one hand the Tech, aTm, and Texas (OU and OSU too) fans there though.

But would you hold the ticket in the face of KU fan and light it on fire?

Since there was no interest in these tickets, my friend has decided to return them to Sooner Club.

I hope to be in KC for the Big-12 Tournament next year.
