Remind you of Hollis Price? The way he plays and his leadership do. Watching this game in the sprint center sure make me think of hp in the body of clemente.

NO! Clemente is a headcase...Hollis was a pro.

Denis Clemente was run off down at Miami U for stealing and conduct.

That kid couldn't hold Hollis' jock strap.

He also sucker punches guys in the back of the head and cries like a baby on the bench. This thread should be deleted before Hollis sees it.

I'm not talking personality and off the court issues. I'm just saying size and the way he plays.

Hollis, forgive them, for they know not what they say! :hollis754:

Clemente headed to K-State after late-season suspension

He is the second cousin of late Pittsburgh Pirates great Roberto Clemente, and his former AAU coach believes he will be a huge hit for Kansas State's basketball team.

Denis Clemente, a 6-foot point guard who left the University of Miami after being suspended late last season, will transfer to K-State immediately and have two years of eligibility beginning in 2008.

Art Alvarez, director of basketball operations for the Miami Tropics AAU program, said Clemente was admitted to K-State on Friday. The Puerto Rico native will move to Manhattan this weekend to begin attending summer school.

"I'm telling you, K-State is getting somebody special," said Alvarez, a longtime friend of first-year Wildcats coach Frank Martin.

Clemente, a product of Miami Calusa Prep, started 15 of 27 games last season at Miami but was suspended in March by coach Frank Haith for an unspecified violation of team rules. He also missed the Hurricanes' season opener for violating team policy.

Hollis has what Clemente will never ever have in his life and that is character. What a dumb, dumb, dumb, comparison and it is an insult to Hollis.

I am not sure I see much comparison in Clemente vs Hollis. Definitely not off the court, but I don't see it on the court. Clemente is better with the basketball, but Hollis might be a better shooter. Clemente is probably a slightly better deep threat, while Hollis was a better defender.
