Damion James? James has an inch on him and was a tad stronger but I see really see the similarities. Osby's release looks better. James seemed more aggresive taking it to the rack. I think Osby plays a little more in control of himself than James.

Romero has impressed me with his rebounding thus far. Seems like Kruger rests him quite a bit or he would be pretty close to averaging a double double.

What say you? Yes? No? Maybe so?

I just hope he is better at making FTs in the LNC.

I see a lot of similarities as well. Both are undersized 4's who can play sf in spurts in need be. Both are really athletic, and attack the glass hard on both ends. I think James is a much more talented scorer, but for reason to me it seems like Osby doesn't look for his offense as much as he could/should, but they are definitely comparable IMO

I agree that it's a pretty good comparison... Except the assertion that james was stronger. I think Osby is definitely stronger than james, but not quite the scorer he was, yet.

James seemed to play much quicker and was more of a slasher. Osby is kind of a plodder, but a huge upgrade from our weakness at the 4 last year when we basically had nobody to man that position.

I would agree. But I don't think James has an inch on him (I assume you're talking height).

Damion was no taller than 6'8 and was probably closer to 6'7. Osby is listed at '6'8..but is probably closer to 6'7 as well...but is no shorter than that.

Not a big deal..but not sure why people think ROmero is short. He is every bit of 6'7 plus.

James measured 6-6.25 barefoot before the NBA draft.

Exactly! And it's not like ROmero's arms are skinny. Not sure who could bench more...but I think ROmero could hold his own.
