Does OU have a scholarship left and will they use it

With ncaa getting rid of immediately eligibility shouldn't we get that transfer now? Since he would have to redshirt

Still lots of grad transfers. You guys know Lon is always watching and waiting.

They got rid of the immediate eligibility unless you have graduated so we can't get a tashawn this year

...and even with Thomas, there was no guarantee he was going to be granted eligibility. Any number of things could have went wrong there. We took a chance because losing Mbaye caught us off-guard. It was lucky for us that the NCAA didn't drag their feet well into the season with TT.

A more likely scenario would be a transfer that sits out this season and is ready to plug in for 2017 when we lose a bunch of seniors.

Still, Kruger is doing fine, bringing is guys who fit what he wants to do. Their may be a bump in the road in 2017, but I don't think we are going to be going back to the dark ages or anything. Kruger has a system, and knows how to put a program in position to be successful.

Dont think we are taking a transfer this year. Plan as of now is to sit on the scholly. Dont think 2017 will be a bump... but expecting elite 8 final 4 every year is unrealistic.

M'Baye has been gone for 2 years now, didn't have anything to do with him.

Being able to play defense and rebound 3-5 minutes per game may not seem like "a huge factor" but those few minutes could be really important for giving Spangler a break or keeping any of the bigs out of foul trouble. Those few minutes add real depth.

I don't think that qualifies him as a huge factor, sorry.

That means he likely won't even play in every game.
