It’s a good foundation. Need to add to that foundation with a couple difference makers. But it’s the best foundation Porter has had if it sticks. Not to be a doomer but that team genuinely goes 3-15 in conference. Need a high level guard and a high level big. A good wing would also help, no clue if Jadon or Nwankwo can be that.
You didn't hurt anything.Hurt your feelings. Must be true complainer, true fan you are.
Looks like your break didn’t change much. Not surprised. You didn't hurt anything.
I'm trying to figure out if you are a kid or special. Maybe both?
Go play somewhere else.
Your a tough guy. It shows you live in your mom's basement and are a troll. Probably a biden/harris supporter. I have been on this site , I don't troll like you .You didn't hurt anything.

Rogers is your other center. (would like another, obv)So I would prioritize our needs as:
Power Forward
Lead Guard (whether that's Miles, Forsythe, or Portal)
Back-up Wings
Second Center (whether that's Kai Rogers or Portal)
If Nwankwo and Jones stay, we have a great core at wing, and Forsythe is minimally a solid backup PG. Wague is one piece at center but definitely need someone else there too. Power Forward is the one spot we just don't have on the roster.
How do you know that’s a great core at wing? You are that confident that two guys who have never played major college basketball, and are coming off serious injuries, are going to be good, let alone great, in the SEC? Why assume they are likely to be any better than Miles and Elvis and Goodine? As someone pointed out the other day, Elvis was the one Moser was hyping the most last spring/summer.So I would prioritize our needs as:

First off, note that I said core and not "stars." These are solid ball players who can help you win games based on their performance elsewhere. How do you know that’s a great core at wing? I’m very surprised how many people are putting so much stock into the reports that were based on a few practices. Remember, we also heard Sam was great in our secret scrimmages, and two summers ago, Moser was hyping up Luke as a potential difference maker.
I guess it is somewhat semantics, but when you said "great core" in the first post, that, at least to me, implies more than solid players. I hope they both stick around and contribute, but would I necessarily feel good about our team if both of them are starters when November rolls around? Or more importantly, when early January arrives and we are playing at Auburn or Florida?First off, note that I said core and not "stars." Jadon Jones has played 110 ish division 1 basketball games, including games against power 5 conferences each year. He has proven himself to be a great defender (1.8 spg in his last full season), an efficient all around wing (54% effective FG % and 84% from the free throw line), solid outside shooter (37% for his career). He's got good size (6'5", 200), length and athleticism and rebounds well enough for his position. Doesn't turn it over much and is a good team player. Has he played at OU yet? No. But he has played D-1 basketball for long enough with enough consistent performance to say that he forms part of a great core.
Admittedly, there is more gray area with Nwankwo, but: he's got great size, very good athleticism (watch the tapes), showed himself to be a very good scorer (top 20 in juco) and rebounder (top 10 defensive rebounder in juco as a guard). He's got great shooting form and can get his outside shot off in tight quarters. His 3 pt % at 37% shows him to be a solid outside shooter. He knows how to draw fouls (gets to the line about 5 times per game) and averaged almost 2 steals per game (top 30 in juco). He was ranked second coming out of juco, and his peers in the top 5 that year have all done well, with players like Dominique Ewin (Florida State) and Lajae Johnson (St. Bonaventure) showing great translation of their juco stats to Division 1.
Again, neither of these guys looks like a star, but they both look like solid consistent contributors with size, athleticism, defensive capabilities, and good intangibles as teammates. If that's not a good core, then we will have to agree to disagree.
i would be much higher on both if they were not coming off injuries ( and one off a massive injury)I guess it is somewhat semantics, but when you said "great core" in the first post, that, at least to me, implies more than solid players. They are both 3 and D guys to me with Nwankwo's game feeling like it has a little bit more scoring juice. We need a very good 4, a reliable big, and a couple of guys capable of handling the ball for long stretches of the game. Our guards do not look near good enough as we stand today. We will have to correct that in the portal or it is going to be a long seasoni would be much higher on both if they were not coming off injuries ( and one off a massive injury)
but i do think they can be good players for OU
Replacing lottery picks is hard. They are both 3 and D guys to me with Nwankwo's game feeling like it has a little bit more scoring juice. I think we basically see them the same, but I'm not sure I'm going to expect Moore numbers from JN just yet. Not at least without seeing how he moves post-Achilles injury. And I'm not saying we have to replace a lottery pick, but we literally do not have a guard right now that I'd be comfortable with handling the ball for even 20 minutes a game, let alone 30.Replacing lottery picks is hard.
I think Jadon will be better than Elvis and Duke. He is a 3/d type guy. Jeff is a lot more. I’ll go a tad further and say Jeff will put up Jalon moore type numbers.
