Dom Raney Juco

Read in Will Jennings and Sams' report that Raney will be going the JUCO route next year. Does anybody know if he has academic issues or is he only doing this to try and and land a major D1 school? I'm pretty surprised that he didn't go the prep school route...

He has great grades and test scores. He is trying for a division 1 school closer to home. He had several offers from schools out of the area.
He could play one year and then transfer. Did he go to Navarro?

I like Raney a lot and think he could play at OU. Kids that are athletic and can really shoot the ball just aren't as common as people think.

The coaches didn't agree with me the first time around, hopefully he does well as Navarro and we take another look.
