Ya and your basketball knowledge
Amath M'Baye via Twitter:
"Now we know how much harder we need to work... We WILL get there tho, no doubt."
Guess what? I believe him. Guess I'm just a glass half-full/realist kinda guy like Amath.
**cue "he needs to stop tweeting and get in the gym instead" post**![]()

The problem is...most of his recruits are mid major or worse players.
If Kruger's recruits are no better than mid-major, what does that make two seniors and a junior that your favorite coach brought in? Pledger, Fitzgerald and Clark combined for 14 points on 6 of 18 shooting, while pulling down 5 rebounds. Let me break that down for you: That's an average of a whopping 4.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per player.
Do you have your head so far up Capel's rear end that you are actually impressed with those numbers? Get over the guy, he's not coming back!
Yeah. I actually like bgrch as a good poster, but I do believe he has gotten very bitter about the firing of JC. As I said in the game thread, I also wanted JC to get another year, but I realized he was gone, and I had to move on, just as I did with KS, Billy, The King, etc.....
I also know for a fact, some of Capel's family and close friends posted here for awhile. I spoke privately with a couple of them. Maybe bgrch is one of those. If so, I would hope he could someday move on past JC, and realize he is no longer here.
I noticed awhile ago, he stopped posting anything positive about the team. That is usually a sign someone is not happy with what is going on. To be fair to him, some here did the same with JC, and it tore the board up at the end of his tenure.
I know the young guys are struggling as most young guys do, and M'Baye is not what some projected him to be, but it is still far too early to throw in the towel, and expecting LK to get this thing tight in such a short time isn't realistic, IMO...... Now if we finish about the same this yr, and see no hope with incoming signees, etc I will understand the negative venom. Let's at least let this regime have a fair shot at turning it around before we write them off.....
I do believe though that if Spangler was on our squad..he would have gotten about 5 to 8 mins in the game b/c Arent, Neal, and Bennett are worthless. Oh wait, you prolly think that Bennett is a good player...we just rather redshirt him b/c we couldn't use a solid center this season.
Neal was a Capel recruit...
Bgrch also stated that Gonzaga only gets in the tournament because they play in a bad conference...his bitterness over Capel is comical and is dripping in every statement. This is the best Gonzaga team in 10 years, they are really good and you would be hard pressed to find 10 teams as consistent as them the rest of the season.
Now that doesn't excuse the margin of loss but it is definitely no reason to freak out. The half court offense is however, this is a team of jump shooters and it will not end well unless they a.) fix the offense b.) go OKC Thunder and get really hot. The rebounding disparity is a little skewed based on how many jumpers we are throwing up right now.
