Dr. Ben Carson

You know who the real lightweights are? People who make the ridiculous argument that Trump's support is from angry old white people when the polls all clearly show he leads in every single ideological, education, & income demographic.

You're not paying very close attention because here's the latest poll that shows him leading Hillary 44-40. link

And LOL @ Kasich. The biggest nothingburger ever. He's polling at around 2-3% and for good reason.

You have an interesting propensity to irritate your allies.

OK. So you have Survey USA, or do you. You should learn about polling and polls if you want to cite them. Survey USA is right about as often as a broken clock and with about the same significance. Due to the cost, they quit using call centers and live callers. They use robocalls exclusively. Now, does that mean anything to you? They also are using a call list of voters who voted in the 2014 election. Any problem there?

Quinnipiac, at one time reputable, has begun to use call lists like the 2014 list which tends to skew their results by about two to four percent. Rasmussen did the same thing. But, I think they sold out to FOX or somehow became FOX news. It creates a few polls that are cheap, but that tend to be based on invalid information. The use of robocalls is a real problem.

Even in 2012 and 2014, there were poll-averaging assemblages that didn't use Rasmussen and Survey USA. I suspect that Quinnipiac may make the list. I don't know why they use old lists when they are not so limited by funding. The Survey USA poll may well have been commissioned by Trump.

It is a bit too early for the legitimate pollsters to be at work. They cost too much to do weekly. The last time I saw a PEW, CNN, ABC, or Washington Post poll, Hillary had about a nine-point lead over the nearest Republican. That may have declined a bit, but probably by no more than three or four points. You have to examine real polls to avoid Meghan Kelly's "numbers that make you feel better as a Republican."" I don't think she is voting for the Donald.

The state & national polls all say the same thing plus or minus a couple points. They completely refute the beltway talking point that Trump is only appealing to "angry" people frustrated with the system. His support is growing and consistent across all ideological, education, age and income demographics. Every single poll shows this.

The beltway just doesn't want to believe there is a non traditional candidate that is much more attractive than their manicured puppets.

If anybody had a job they needed done by somebody they could just turn loose they would hire Trump over everybody else in the field and it's not really close.

No other candidate can match his energy, passion, track record of success, charisma, openness, etc. His ambition for greatness is second to none. He is completely unrestrained by ideology because a person who wants to be great will change their mind in a nanosecond if they think it will get them a better result.

The fact he has switched between parties and changed back and forth on policy positions is a huge positive to me. Flexibility is an asset, not a liability.

Don't take it the wrong way. My initial thoughts on Trump candidacy were the same as yours. But then a strange thing happened, I listened to him directly interviewed on With All Due Respect and he came across completely different than my preconceived notion. You see because it wasn't really my thoughts that were driving my opinion, I was being told what to think by others who I trusted just because I largely agree with them on Obama.

His appeal is a lot more thoughtful than the pundits want you to believe. I can see Chris Matthews coming around. He won't admit it yet but he's been around a long time and knows the real deal when he sees it.

Carson is gone. He's a dead man walking. What a dopey move to question Trump's faith. Now trump will point out how absurd it is to consider Carson presidential material. And oh by the way Mr. god fearing Christian did research on aborted fetus'. Trump is going to pound him back down to single digits.

This is the same pattern. People attack Trump with broad unsubstantiated claims - he said all mexicans were rapists and criminals, he's a cancer, he insulted veterans, he said Meygyn Kelly was on the rag, he's not a christian, etc.

None of those claims withstand scrutiny and he fires back with real items. lol @ Ben Carson pulling the he's not as christian as me card. lol Bye bye

Trump/Rubio?
Trump/Kasich?

I like the idea of Kasich because Trump will win Florida and Kasich would guarantee Ohio. Practically guarantees the election.

Carson immediately came out and apologized to Trump. Said he was trying to talk about himself and was inarticulate in his mention of Trump. Smart move. Regains some credibility.
