Draft smart, not Marcus Smart

Classic line last night by Mychal Thompson on the Lakers telecast when discussing draft busts & the Lakers upcoming high pick.

I just don't see Marcus Smart as a great NBA player. He can't shoot the outside shot at an NBA level. He is not likely to dominate the glass in the NBA. He isn't a great ball handler compared to NBA pgs. He isn't super quick for an NBA pg. I don't think I would take the guy early in the draft.
