DraftExpress breaks down pro prospects Osby, Pledger

The whole "Osby isn't big enough for the NBA" crap is the same argument that people still trot out about QB's having to be at least 6'2 in the NFL. It's old, antiquated, out of date, and largely proven completely wrong. Smaller 3's and 4's are playing and succeeding quite well in the NBA. I see Osby as a 3 in the NBA (or overseas) anyway.

I really like Pledger, but he's nowhere near an NBA athlete. He'll play professionally and probably make decent money overseas if that's the route he wants to go.
So you think Osby is athletic enough to guard NBA 2s and 3s? If you're a SF in the NBA, you're going to be expected to defend both positions, as they're often interchanged. What is his role in the NBA? What is his NBA SF skill?

I think Ro has an outside chance of at least getting a cup of coffee in the league, but these size counter-arguments you guys are throwing out there are really weak.

There are alot of D leagers that look like allstars. They seem to have cann't miss athletism and production. But, they will never make it in the league because they will run up against guys that are just as good and 2/3" taller and 20lbs. heavier.
