I just think the point is that had we kept this player we might be in a better position. Look at how she's developed in how great a player she is now. Maybe she would have never developed like this under SC. I know that I was a student-athlete once at the University of Oklahoma and I didn't go to every single one of my classes and it was not that big a deal as long as I kept my grades up. I can't imagine that was the big deal with her. Now if she was going out underage drinking or something like that, maybe.
At this point who really cares. What's done is done. I just hope we pick up a couple players in the offseason with height and possibly experience to help lead these underclassmen because yet again, next season we will have the fact that we are young as an excuse if we perform poorly. I say go crazy after valuable grad transfers or juco players. This would be against the norm I'm aware, but what have you got to lose? If the grad player does not work out, she's gone the next season. Stop being stubborn and try something new. It's obviously broken at this point, so let's fix it!
Pretty reasonable response, 06.
Do you think the fact she lost 35 lbs at Arkie is a suggestion we have a couple of kids who need to do serious work this off season?
How excited would we all be if it was announced that a taller transfer was headed our way! Even if it didn't work out perfect, it would show that effort was underway.
