D1 Rankings: Adjusted Offense | Defense

OU 13 | 13
Nova 4 | 7
UNC 1 | 21
Cuse 52 | 16

D1 Rankings: Adjusted Opposition Offense | Defense

OU 4 | 3
Nova 27 | 13
UNC 7 | 31
Cuse 16 | 29

Takeaways:

OU has matched up against the Top 5 most efficient offenses and defenses (best in Final Four) and has Top 15 respective efficiencies (arguably the most lethal O in nation)

OUr D continues to get overlooked as the media / public continues to admire OUr offensive explosiveness; plus most team's primary objective against OU is to slow OUr O down.

Only Nova and UNC have more efficient offenses, yet have only played against the 13th and 31st best D's respectively

I like OUr chances. In Krug We Trust.

Yeah this is what I do get annoyed about as well is the fact that we keep hearing about novas great offense and defense when in all reality we are their better in both categories.

Nova is better at both according to the stats. But a lot can change in one game.

Yes they are per the stats, but it's important to note again that they've played against the 27th best offensive efficiency schedule and 13th best defensive efficiency schedule. OU has played the 4th and 3rd best O and D efficiency schedule respectively while maintaining a Top 15 O and D efficiency.

When we defend, we are really good. Defense has been somewhat inconsistent at times which has led to some struggles midseason. But we defended the crap out of Oregon and A&M and if we bring it on defense Saturday we've got a really good chance.
