Eight players across the state have been nominated among 800 athletes nationwide for the annual McDonald’s All-American high school basketball games in March.
And some of the biggest names in the state’s senior class lead the way.
Tulsa Memorial twins Kalib and Keylan Boone are the lone boys nominations. They both signed with Oklahoma State in November.
On the girls side, six players have been nominated, including four from the Oklahoma City metro.
Washington’s Katelyn Crosthwait, Shawnee’s Lauren Fields, Choctaw’s Aliyah Llanusa and Edmond Santa Fe’s Keira Neal highlight the local list. Crosthwait has signed with Rice, while Fields has signed with California and Neal with North Texas. Llanusa is undecided.
Lawton Eisenhower senior Ginger Reece, an Arkansas signee, and Holland Hall star Gabby Gregory, an Oklahoma signee, are also nominated.
Final rosters will be revealed Thursday at 2 p.m. on ESPN’s The Jump and 5 p.m. on SportsCenter. The games will be played Wednesday, March 27, in Atlanta.
