Great effort today, and I'm most proud of the way they kept their composure when A&M got it down to 11 early in the second half. I can't wait until Saturday, and I honestly don't care who we play!

Key is the balance tonight. So much focus is on Buddy, and he had a D&D with 17/10 but everyone else did their thing. Woodard lead all with 22, Spangs and Lattin both with 20pts and 12 rbs combined.

James off the bench with a stellar game, 12/6/3 McNeace and Buford kept pace with good low post Def.

If we have this kind of balance we will be very hard to beat.

Could not agree more. We are not winning it all with Buddy scoring 40pts a game...it just means others are unable to make buckets.

Since you can't score 40 on fewer than 14 makes (not counting touches that result in foul shots)... that's a self - fulfilling prophecy.

Our guys feed the hot hand when Buddy is feeling it, sure. And if he goes on a run like the second half vs. VCU, it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. 21 straight points isn't something we should second - guess. But this team is an absolute terror when you can't shut down one guy without the others bleeding you. Great win tonight. We belong in the Elite Eight this year, and that's a hell of an example why.
