Very interesting, indeed. If my count is correct, 27 "experts" provided their preseason and current picks for the Final 4, National Champion, Player of the Year and Coach of the Year.

Four are currently picking the Sooners to win the national championship and the overwhelming majority are picking Buddy to be named Player of the Year. A few are also making Lon their choice for Coach of the Year.

Only 4 of the 27 had OU making the Final 4 in their preseason picks, which shows those four may be smarter than all the others (and most of us as well).

I was really thrilled with Andy Katz' current picks. Katz has OU winning the NC, Buddy as POY and Lon as COY – a clean sweep for our Sooners.

I had never even heard of the people NOT picking Buddy for POY now…and now I know why.

People predicting KU to win it all? Come on. That ain't happening. They'll be lucky to not get upset early, IMO.

I find it interesting that OU was picked to go to the final four the most out of any other team. However, they are basically the second to last in terms of winning the whole dance. Just interesting I guess. Gotta love those smart guys! Lol
