2017 PF from Tulsa Union now has offers from all in-state D1 programs except us....6'8 guy that can step out and shoot....come on Lon don't make Capel's mistake in passing up great in-state talent

I've never seen him play, so for all I know he may be OU good. However, OU is not going to be very successful if they base their recruiting decisions off of what OSU, TU, and ORU are doing.

Good Lordy haven't we already been over this. Coach Kruger knows what he's doing he's been in contact with Ethan and Coach Garcia from Union for the last two years.

Coach Crutchfield and Coach Garcia's boys play on the same AAU team and are in constant contact

Looks like you might have missed this thread several months ago. If so, this will make you feel better. Clearly Ethan has been on OU's radar for sometime, so it's not like he's a well-kept secret. Be patient. If he's good enough, he'll get an OU offer in due time.

Trust the coaching staff.

Believe me, they knew who he was long before any of us did.

If they believe he is talented enough for OU, then he'll get the offer.

Trust Coach Kruger.

Very astute analysis.

There is a communication thing going.
Ethan would go to OU if offered.
OU doesn't think they would get him that is why they haven't offered him.

Something doesn't add up.

He needs about an inch and a, half for an OU offer. He's kinda in the purgatory range that Shaquille Morris of Wichita State was with OU. They liked him, but wished he were bigger.

Btw, Lew Hill makes final call on recruits for OU.

I don't doubt this at all. I am guessing they want him to be 6'9 barefoot? He is 6'8 barefoot right now.

He is much more skilled than many of OUs bigs but he isn't as explosive as the guys they have recruited the last few years.
