Exciting News!: OU-Sydney Kings Live Stream Broadcast Coming Soon

I leaned a few days ago that the Australian Sports Network will broadcast the OU-Sydney Kings game on August 10th (August 9th central time). You can thank one of our newest members, Matt McQuade, for his part in bringing this game to OU fans. Matt tells me the game will be a full live stream in HD with expert commentary, full graphics, instant replay, the works.

Matt will also be the play by play announcer during the game. His partner and color commentator will be Brad Rosen, a former player and assistant coach of the Kings. Matt has called games for both the Sydney Kings and NBL for the past 10 years. He said he has also been fortunate to call games over the past couple of years that featured four NBA draft lottery picks: Ben Simmons (LSU); Jaylen Brown (Cal-Berkeley); Markelle Fultz (Washington); and Lonzo Ball (UCLA). He added that he is looking forward to calling another likely one in Trae Young!

Matt will post a link to the OU-Kings game before long. Welcome him to the board and let him know how much we appreciate the opportunity to see this year's team in a real game situation!

I want to add that it's an honor to have you on the board, especially since you have been instrumental in giving OU fans their first look at this year's team in action. To this point, we have only seen short Twitter video clips of a handful of practices. A complete game with all of the fixins' is sure to be a treat for everyone here!
