Fears & the NBA Draft Projections

And there will still be people on here who think he would benefit from coming back. Lolol

It would be great for OU and Moser for him to go that early. It's a great recruiting tool!
I think he would benefit from coming back. I think he should go pro, but there is benefit to a second season, and much is off the court.

Blake was an example.

i don't know anything about nba contracts...
what would fears make as a #4 pick as a rookie?

He didn’t graduate hs early to stay in college 2 years.

Enjoy it!

Blake wasn't as polished particularly at a position that is harder to make the NBA even back then.

yeah if he's #4....he would be crazy to stay in college.
i'd say top 15 and he should go.
would ku or uk pay him $3 mil?
First of all disgusting last sentence.. I don't wanna read that!

Also, why would he do that is the #4 slot is like 8 mil and plenty lower ones are above 3?

yeah...#4 is over $8mil...
i meant even if he was around #15 or worse.....would anyone pay him similar money to stay in college....

They way things are now maybe someone like a Kansas or Kentucky puts out 5 mil to keep him in college. But even then you get whatever years the NBA gives you for being a first round pick. You won't get that in college. Even if he's top 15 grade he probably leaves. Maybe low first round grade he goes back to college but even then not likely.

Maybe Fears hits a freshman wall and just isn't any good but even then with Elvis and Miles with experience helping him out he doesn't have to carry the load. This really was a perfect spot for a freshman phenom like him to get into because of the other 2 guys. Not gonna say Miles or Elvis are NBA guys like he is of course. I think those guys being there will help him from hitting any real wall.

Dont they want to get to that first big contract after the rookie contract? He'll have to go pro just about 97% imo

This might be the single best example of an academic debate in history. Fears is back in college next season in only two scenarios: he gets hurt, or his play and draft stock drop off dramatically in the next couple months.
