That snuck up pretty quick.

Do they sell lower level tickets at the window at all? The people we usually buy our tickets from are taking longer than usual to make the deal.

I'm sure they do. But it's probably cheaper to buy an upper level seat (probably $10 for this exhibition game) and move down to the lower level.

You can also buy a season ticket for $99 in the red sections in the graphic below:

The students have been so screwed over the years. When I was a student you entered the entrance on Imoff and the students basically had the entire 25% of the arena to your left both upper and lower level. (I am not sure if it was exatly 25% but it was pretty close. If you went early you could essentially sit mid Court lower level.) If you got a priority ticket, you got to sit in the lower level. They cost about $25. Those seats behind the basket suck. No wonder the students don't want to go. You get a much better view on the TV.

Over/Under on students who watch any home basketball games on TV? I'm going with 10.

Well when I was in school we would have that many at our house when we didn't go to the games.

I'm just not seeing it. Maybe it's because most of my friends here are really big bball fans, but I always think that people either go to the games or don't give a damn about the games. It may not be that cut & dry though.

It isn't

If they filled up the seats they were allotted maybe they'd get better seats.

I have one free ticket in section S7, row A. If anyone would like it, pm me your address and I'll drop it in the mail today.

I won't be able to make it to all of the midweek games, so this seat will be available from time to time.

I don't recall how "official" it was, but back in the early years of the LNC practically the whole west side of the arena was student general admission. At the epic 1977 game with Missouri (the first-ever LNC sellout crowd), you had to get there by 6:15 for a 7:30 p.m. tip to get a decent seat).

That was also the game before which the OU Daily reported that students might need to leave at noon "and that's from the Kraettli Apartments" (which were just across the street from the LNC).

students used to be in the top half of LW5 and LW6 and all of LN1-LN4 and W6-N3 in the upper deck ...

students lost LW5 when the crimson zone on the sides started ..

and after the last move all the students are now on the end ...

i am good with the end .. but IMHO the students should have seats and they should start right on the floor .. the entire length on the baseline and we should lose the pep band ..

Agreed, think there is a better alternative for the pep band. Wake Forest has their students behind the basket and they were great back when the team was playing well.
