who would significantly help this team.

Johnny Gilbert & Nate Carter immediately come to mind for some size off the bench to rebound, defend and score in the paint.

Godbold and Jaison Williams will definitely help. They would provide some good shooting, great defense, and leadership/energy off the bench (they would probably start, but in a perfect world, they are 6th men)

And definitely :yoyo for his toughness, energy, and rebounding. Light a fire under these young guys' arses when they hit adversity on the road

nate carter's transition was crazy.. as soon as conference started his SR year he just went crazy

Are we really so good now that Carter and Gilbert would be coming off the bench? Nate definitely would be starting (and probably be our best player) and Jilla would be tough to sit, though Fitz is a better scorer.

Jilla! Any idea what that means?

Neal and Honore played well as "role" players, especially in the first half (Honore kept OU in the lead at the end of the half). They're just fine; I also liked what Washington did as well. When there is a tightly called rivalry game and OU has a thin bench, this is what happens. I am proud as hell of what these guys did today.

Godbold, as a senior, would have been great in this game today.
Played good D and came up with big shots when needed.
Where is he?

Was Nolan Johnson too good to be considered a "role player"? He was on the 2000-2001 team with Price, Raymond, McGee, and Selvy. If he can be considered a role-player...gimme him. He was tough, took the ball to the hole well, rebounded well, and played tough defense. I remember him playing some stellar ball in the B12 tournament that season.

If he's not a role player, gimme Daryan Selvy too.

Michael Neal or Dave seiger. Both were great shooters and would help a lot. If you left them to double you gave up three. They really stretched the floor and made things a lot easier for their teammates.

I'm a little shocked this guy hasn't been mentioned.

Renzi Stone.

A 5 with size for this squad would be awesome.
