Kansas's last foul was 2:34 in the 2nd OT.

We had 7 called on us from that point until the final whistle.

Some calls were missed and I think we stopped attacking to some degree.

We definitely was not attacking we migrated to playing one on one basketball. No screens , no passing and lots of dribbling. We had our chance and did not take advantage. Tough loss. I thought the hawks played more aggressively on the defense end forcing us to make a lot of tough shots.

You have to be up by double digits on KU late in the game or you won't win. It's as simple as that. They will get every call and every non call to close a game and always have. It's the hardest place to win. It's literally 8-5 when it matters. Officials are human and that environment changes everything.

Easy to play aggressive defense when you're not getting whistled for fouls.

KU was whistled for two fouls in 15 minutes of overtime play. OU was whistled for nine. You think it might've helped if Mason and Graham, who each had four fouls, had gotten whistled another time?

And that's not even counting the non-foul calls that went their way. Ellis rebounds the ball, falls and slides two feet. No whistle. Lattin rebounds the ball in a crowd and stumbles a tiny bit after major contact and is called for traveling.

And then there was the late inbounds play, which has been cited in other threads, was clearly against the rules. Jeff Goodman on ESPN just said it was against the rules, and Scott Van Pelt agreed with him -- they returned to the topic more than once.

I truly thought we were going to get a fairly officiated game in Lawrence for once, and I know the numbers were fairly even. But in crunch time, when KU needed help, they got it, big time.
