Free Recruiting Article from Sooner Illustrtrated

Justin Hite, one of my favorite reporters, posted a free recruiting update earlier today. His article features a couple of current commits, as well as a few recruits still on OU's radar.

The biggest surprise to me is that the Sooners have pulled the scholarship offers on two Mustang recruits, Jacolby Long and Austin Meyer. If someone posted it before, I must have missed it.

It would be nice to hear about pursuit of some bigs. After next year it's Lattin and McNease, and a guy who just left his JC. And even if Lattin and McNease were tearing it up, which they aren't, don't we still need more than 3? Also, insiders here have said that Khadeem may move to more of a wing as time goes on.. I wish Lon would place more of his eggs in more of a sure thing at the 4/5. But what do I know? Im sure he is and we just don't read about them.

What do you think is contributing to Lattin shooting and missing those jump shots, some even airballs, in Big 12 play when we saw him make quite a few earlier? Also what about Terrance Ferguson? He's as Stephen A. would call "a baaaaad man" is he still considering us? On ESPN he has 12 schools, one of which is OU. Are we in his top 12?

Just from my observations on TV during the Kansas, he appears to be rushing his shot a little bit. Think he in in a hurry to get rid of the ball in order to not turn it over or get blocked.

Lattin is rushing for sure... He'll be fine. hes a 19 yr old in the big world of college basketball. I think LK is doing him and this team a favor by still getting him minutes. We will need him at some point. Even though I thought DJ has played better as of late!

Ferguson is now moved on from OU. I dont think its really an option at this point. He's a really really big fish. Last I heard he was down to 5-6. OU not being one of them... Baylor, KU, Fla, Louisville, UK... even OSU a little
