Funny how everything goes back to Lane Kiffin. Maybe not the first coach to be fired on a tarmac, but definitely the most famous airport firing.

It's early in the conference season. But it looks like: 1) OU gave him plenty of NIL money to be successful; 2) it's not going to work out; and 3) the first order of business for the new AD will be to replace him.

This will happen after we go 17-15 and miss the tourney again. Hopefully some dumb small school wants him instead and he avoids a firing and just leaves and never comes back to the state of Oklahoma again

He has no offensive system. Never coaches bad tendencies out of players. Never adjusts like 3 pt shooting taken away from non-shooters

We’re not firing anyone mid season in basketball, whether we should or not. We will have to experience this pain all season until the bitter end.

Well it’s a long list. Davis should never be allowed to shoot threes. Ever. I don’t turn on Houston and see Tugler shooting threes. Again, look at his career numbers. This isn’t an aberration. He absolutely sucks as a shooter.

He wasted six minutes playing Dayton tonight when it was a close game. Dayton hasn’t hit a three since Nov 15 and is averaging about 1 or 2 points over his last 7 games. He gives us nothing.

His team melted down and turned the ball over like crazy. Sloppy mistakes, poor rebounding, dumb fouls. All hallmarks of bad coaching.

Rogers played some quality minutes in the first half, including on defense. Didn’t get much run in the second half.

And more broadly, our team was yet again completely unfocused and discombobulated. Again, coaching.
