GAME 29- OKLAHOMA (14-14) @ LSU (15-13) 5:00pm CST on SEC NETWORK

Dayton was probably injured and trying to play through it. Since his scoring slump was an extended one, many gave up on him. He's been invaluable the past several games...hope he sticks around next season regardless of who is coaching.
For what it’s worth. I predicted this team would not win many games where Forsythe scores 0. I think it was after the Marquette game

OU is winning out. Will go 2-1 in the second tournament and miss the tournament at 19-15. Final prediction
Would winning out and getting 2 wins get us into the first four? That would be 3 wins against tournament/bubble teams.

First round game won’t help but if we beat the 5/6 seed in SEC tournament that would be a big win.

Usually is when OU wins. Trolls have nothing to say.
The odds are much higher that fans have given up on the team and have better things to do. I did post in the game thread a few times but it was far fewer times than normal. Not because we were winning but because I have much less interest now. I suspect that is the bigger problem and not “trolls”.

Correct. I rarely post in the game threads except for halftime & after the game. But this season has been so disappointing I haven’t watched an OU game since Tennessee.

I want to believe this, but if we had gotten blown out there probably would have been more traffic.

No doubt. Some people love to complain.

I think both things are contributing here. The team lost a lot of the fanbase and also fans tend to complain more about losses than high 5 the wins.

I can't believe we go through this every year... Of course there's more complaining when we lose. It's that way on every message board, especially with successful programs. I've lived through Tubbs, Sampson, Kruger... some pretty darn successful times. Success is expected. I'm sorry, I see no reason to come on here every time OU wins and say "Yippee, we won." Now if it's a really huge win, sure, the threads should be as long as the losing ones. Of course people are going to bitch when the team looks like crap and is losing, and the program is choking to death. It infuriates fans that are used to, and expect success that the powers that be are so lackadaisical and seemingly uncaring and complacent for the program we love. OU fans want better. It's beyond me how some of you still cannot get that through your brains.

Unfortunately, you don't see me posting really either way any more because Moser has caused to me to lose just about all my interest. He has managed to suck the life out of my OU basketball fandom. Of course I love it when OU wins but I hope and pray he gets fired yesterday. If that means a couple of more meaningless losses this year so be it. If and when OU gets a new coach, it will probably light an unmanageable fire under at least my fandom. I literally cannot wait for them to make a move. I hope they are doing their homework..

The team lost a lot of the fanbase
This is why there will be a coach search in two weeks barring a 5-game run through the SEC tournament.

9,000 season ticket holders went to 4,000. We may have had 2,000 in the building for the Auburn game and may have a few more for Missouri. The fans are gone and won't be back until there is a new coach and he's winning big.
