So far, it's trending towards yet another poor half.....five halves so far this season and only one good one. Not a good pattern out of the gate.

The athleticism on this team has been greatly exaggerated. The team two years ago had tons of crazy dunks by this point in the season. We haven’t done anything particularly impressive yet. Davis and Reid might be good athletes but they don’t get their athleticism into the game nearly enough.

Well we did manage to cover in the opener because we put together 15 good minutes. But I’d just like to see us not look like a a terrible team at this point. Like Storm said, we have played one good half so far, and were decent in the second half Saturday after Gonzaga lost interest.

If any of the folks talking up this roster can find any positives thus far, I’d love to hear them. This looks like the same product we have seen for four years.

Don’t worry, we won’t face athletes like this in the SEC. I’m sure Davis and JN, two of our supposedly great athletes, getting blocked by Pine Bluff at the rim is no cause for concern.

Defense has been a little better since the 9 minute mark....primarily because we are keeping them in front of us. But candidly, this doesn't look like a very good team right now.....considering how awful two of our first three opponents are. I'm not going to panic, but I would hope to see more positives before the end of this game. Rebounding has been better, but that's about it.
