GAME 31 - OKLAHOMA (18-12) @ TEXAS (17-13) 7:00pm CST on SEC NETWORK (ready to be hurt again )

I was at the game and haven't seen a replay of sams injury, look bad?
He was rolled up on from the side/behind as he was reaching for a loose ball or rebound, IIRC. Looked a lot like how offensive lineman get hurt in football.

You knew it wasn't good from being there, and from the replay, by his reaction. Couldn't put any weight on it coming off the floor and was really wincing.

Not a lot he can do besides play Wague and Northweather. I expect we see some small ball lineups too.

The pick and roll with Fears and Moore should be in heavy rotation. It should have been used more to this point imo.
That is a lot. He can use both Northweather and small ball in short spurts and hope that Northweather hits a few big shots and makes a few defensive plays. If he has to (or chooses to) play Northweather for long stints I think we are toast.

I thought Moser did a good job with this substitution in last game but he really only had to do it in second half. This time he has to do it for full game. I think how well he does it is the key to the game.

Of course, if we come out flat like last game with them and trail by 20 then it won’t matter.

I mean, lots of teams have far worse and more important injuries than we do. I would prefer Sam be healthy and I know he has been playing much better the past few games, but missing him for one regular season game isn’t enough to consider us snakebitten in my opinion.
We also have two guys hurt who haven’t played the whole year. One would have been a starter, the other (according to reports) had been playing at a high level during summer ball. I would love to know how the season would have turned out with everyone available…but we’ll never know unfortunately.

What does Vegas know that I don’t? I will take it. Just win baby
I mean, UT is 1-3 in their last 4 games with 2 blowout losses (one to SC). We could very easily be 4-0, with two very close losses…it’s an interesting game for sure. I wish it was in Norman, not that we’ve been great at home this year.

We do shoot significantly better at home vs on the road.

Interesting… I’ll be in Nashville next week. BIL lives there.. going to hang with my MIL while they go skiing.

Maybe go watch the game … if tickets are decent

Hmmm. Sound to me like you’d rather watch basketball while your wife watches your MIL. Not that I am judging! :-)
