The reports also said Sam was our leading scorer in two secret scrimmages. JN got hurt months we started official practice and has never played above JUCO. He could have just as easily turned out to be another Marvin Johnson given Moser’s history. And Jones has played worse competition in his career than some of the other transfers who have struggled badly in conference play. I’d like to have them, but people acting like we are missing two proven commodities are exaggerating.

I didn’t say we’d be undefeated with both of those guys, I simply said it would have been nice to have them both available. Jones would have brought us some more size to that wing position and would have been one of the top 3, 3 point shooters on the team. He was known to be an excellent defender, which would have def helped us in several games. He could have been the one guarding several of those guys who beat us when late game shots. We could very well have another 1-2 wins with him alone available.

JN was for sure the unknown. Extremely athletic, but I’m assuming he would have been a little raw. But it was said more than once that he was performing at a high level during the summer. With Sam out we could def use another forward today. Sam being the leading scorer in those scrimmages means nothing. We all knew what we had with him. But for all the $hit people have given him all season, I guarantee you that all of those players wish he was available today.
 
Looks like we’ll get Georgia if they win today. And if Georgia loses, Miss State.

I don’t think we can win the tiebreak with Texas.
 
Didn’t realize Georgia already won. Pretty sure it will be them if that Mred site is right on tiebreaks.

Lol actually wife staying in kc… I’m semi retired (was teacher now home improvement) she’s still teaching…👍🏻.. actual MIL loves watching bball..👍🤣
