That only is true if a defense truly fears a guy’s shot. I’d guess opposing coaches are more than happy to live with him shooting threes.His presence changes the geometry of the defense. It opens up driving lanes for our guards. It's not his shooting percentage, but it's the threat of him shooting and the defense having to pull their center out from the paint.
