GAME 33 - OKLAHOMA (20-12) vs KENTUCKY (21-10) 8:30pm CST on SEC NETWORK

have someone remotely close to him on the inbounds?? so he doesn't have a full head of steam ??

have a shot blocker on the court because it is like 1000% tega is getting the ball and going to try to get to the rim ?
We don’t have any shot blockers.

We probably should have denied him the ball, no argument there, but he was probably going to get it.

It's not easy. But tough and champion players do it. pm isn't even smart enough to know its a thing lol
I posted earlier tonight. Go oook at the end of the Stanford game. They doubled Hepburn the entire possession so he had no chance of getting a shot. They got a stop but then threw it away and lost, but that’s how you deny someone.

Seriously. Anyone bitching about coaching after that is an idiot. Oweh made a play. Our guys didn’t. They were in position to make a play.

Indy, I think the problem was with the personnel on the floor. Goodine is probably the worst defensive player on the team. Why would you have him on the floor in that situation?

I don't know if you call it, but Goodine got obliterated.
I wasnt sure what you meant, so rewound and watched it…he def got undercut. The correct call would have been count the basket and Goodine should have had two FTs at the other end. Seems like we never get those late foul calls…kind of like Dayton getting fouled at the end of Miss game.

I’m fine with getting the extra rest and looking forward to next week, although a victory tonight would have been sweet. The team is playing well. Let’s carry it into next week.

It’s patently absurd to ignore the incredible comeback we made tonight. That took a lot of guts.

Moser’s tenure has had plenty of lows, but these last three weeks are as good as he’s ever had a team play here.
Not absurd at all. Bc it means and meant nothing in the end. Pm strikes again

That was atrocious defense by three different guys. Overplay and make him do something, anything, with his left.
Oh well. Same as it ever was. What's momentum? Never heard of it.

he was what 10 feet clear of anyone on the inbounds catch ??
Agree. Not the best defenders out there but we didn’t stop him on the baseline either. Moore could have blocked the shot but that’s not what he does. It’s not say to deny when the guy is not lined up on the baseline though no matter who defends.

A great game and I'm proud as hell of the guys for the late comeback. I wish we'd have eaten up just a couple more seconds on our go-ahead possession.

That said, the officiating in the SEC is piss-poor. No better than the Big 12. There were three or four horrendously blown calls/no-calls that benefited UK--just indefensibly bad.

Seriously…?.. ya ok with no pressure.. just letting him catch the ball at almost half court? That is on coaches.
I think they should have put pressure on. I don’t think the coaches are perfect. But you can’t ignore how this team is playing down the stretch and that has to be coaching, too, right?

Obviously bad defense at the end, but what an effort to fight back and cause three turnovers in the last minute to give us a chance. I was so nervous I did not see who we had in the game in those final seconds. Please tell me Goodine was not in the game at that time.
Not only in the game but one of the primary defenders on Oweh.

Heckuva play by Oweh. The play happened fast. It looked like Oweh's guy got blindsided with a screen, which gave him the free run. I could be wrong there.... obviously Elvis let him turn the corner. I'm sure he knew if he touched Oweh a foul woulda been called.

Oh well, we got what we came to Nashville for. These guys have fought their a$$e$ off. I have enjoyed OUHoops the last couple of weeks like I haven't in a while. With the right matchups, these guys can make a run and win a game or two, because we know they won't stop fighting. I'm disappointed but not frustrated.
