GAME 37 - THE CROWN - OKLAHOMA (21-15) vs WEST VIRGINIA (20-14) 4:30pm CST on FOX

They shot 13 more 3s than OU. We took it to the basketball plenty and got no calls. Don’t be so blinded by your hate for Porter.
Don't be a whiny OU fans that looks to point fingers when we play the exact same way we've played all season.

I’ve lost interest. I will watch again next year but I am not going to get excited now and think anything will be different no matter who we get.
lol true… just curious to see who stays.. who we might get. Definitely not excited for the staff to come back

I just don't think we can have the program I want with PoMo in charge. He might get lucky. He might get us in the Dance next year. But I have zero faith in him long-term.

I wasn't going to buy into the hype this year, but this Portal class really was different. So I gave them a shot. And they played like dookie in pretty much every OOC game against an opponent with a pulse, and for the entire month of January.

I'll see what kind of roster they can put together, but man, it's coaching. And that hasn't changed.

I still think they should just fire him if Brown and his step dad leave.

That was demoralizing in the sense that OU had a chance to win their first-ever postseason tournament and couldn't do it. Winning is contagious, but sadly, so is losing. When WVU started chipping away at our double-digit lead, I couldn't help but lose all confidence. I briefly got it back when Pack hit a 3-pointer late in regulation, but lost that confidence just seconds later. We got teased early in OT grabbing a 6-point lead before reality set in once again. Down the stretch, WVU had the right guys taking those 3-point shots. OU did not. For example, Davis took one late in the game which the announcer yelled "short" before the ball got close to the basket. That's how badly he missed. WVU just didn't take bad shots and deserved to win the game.

As for those complaining about the refs, yeah I get it to an extent. WVU got a lot of calls in the paint we didn't get. The foul disparity backs that up. Still, unless it's egregious like the 1988 NCAA Final or the 2006 game at the Phog, I try not to blame the refs for our losses. We clearly had plenty of chances to win that game which had no involvement from the refs.
