why did elatonsev not play saturday/sunday? did he have to hustle home to fight ukraine?

he's arguing crup moser did just enough to still suck.
he just argues for sport.

This was one of the most puzzling things to me. Why was he suddenly not playing after being such a regular part of the rotation? I was pleased with the minutes from Rogers in the tourney… hopefully we can bring him back next year for some post depth.

was it because foreign players supposedly can't receive nil?
so if he played he wouldn't get any $$ anyway?

I just chalk it up to Moser being Moser. Who knows what he’s thinking with his substitutions? I do think he probably was trying to see how Rogers looked, but then he sat Rogers in the second half and OT, so who knows. Kirill looked bored as hell on the bench and I can’t blame him. I assume his lack of PT is an indication they aren’t optimistic he will get another season.
