When you put something in quotes, it implies somebody said it, but I don't believe anybody did. The quote just said road but nothing about hostile, and you went off on a diatribe about Allen Fieldhouse, which sounds a lot like...embellishment.

This has been mentioned before that neutral games make more money. Can you or someone elaborate on this for me? I don’t get how a neutral game makes more $ than a normal home game, unless the home team has a small gym.

Yesterdays game was part of the bad boy mower series…

They get paid to play there. Sponsored games make much more money than home games.

Zags game was played in Spokane so basically a buy game for zags. Say we make $50k on game in norman. Zags/arena that hosted thinks they can make more money and pay is $150k to go up there.

If OU is on the NCAA bubble, the Committee will view this more as a road win than a neutral court win even though it's technically the latter. Chicago is about 90 minutes from Marquette's campus. They obviously had most of the fans. If the game was in Tulsa, it would be considered less impressive when the Committee is putting together the field. Last year, I was at the OU-Michigan game in Charlotte. While that was a true neutral court win based on geography, the lady I took to the game still likes to tease that OU had about 50 fans out of 10,000. While a slight exaggeration, the operative word was "slight". For two football schools, it was a disappointing disparity...but if that win was in Detroit, the Committee would have given it even more weight.
