Did some quick research.... lost to Michigan and San Diego State. Not overly impressive on the schedule. Beat ORU by 12, North Florida by 9, LA Tech by 10... Not really blowing the doors off anybody other than Nebraska.

They will sell out the arena though, and it's known as a very tough place to play.

Their guards are really good...

G- Marcus Zegarowski - Averaging 19 points, 4 assists, 3 boards
G - TyShon Alexander - Averaging 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists
G - Mitch Ballard - Averaging 12 points, 5 boards, and 3 assists per game
F - Damien Jefferson - Averaging 7 points and 5 rebounds per game
F - Christian Bishop - Averaging 8 points and 6 boards per game

They play really small, so that won't be an issue.. They are 6'5'' and 6'7'' in the post. They have no size at all.

OU is significantly better in the paint with Doolittle and Manek than they are. They have better guards. Bienemy can't score 0 points, and Harmon can't take the night off.

This is a good matchup game for OU.

Some advanced stats from Kenpom relating to Creighton:

• Creighton's offensive rebound % is slightly better than ours. BTW, we are ranked in the bottom 15% of the country.
• They are top 20 in both offensive efficiency and eFG%....translation - they shoot and make quite a bit of 3s.
• Their defensive efficiency is #118 (we are #56) and they play at a relatively quick pace (like us). We are significantly better than Creighton at creating TOs and blocking shots.
• OU is somewhat better than Creighton at getting to the FT line.

The numbers say that this is a pretty good matchup for us....so long as we don't allow them to bomb away from 3 and if we can limit most of their offensive rebound opportunities.

I would agree that it is safe to say that if we are unable to hang around and keep it close, we won't win.

Well.... considering we don’t use the “Post” like a post.... not sure size will help us. Actually might hurt if Doo and manek have to guard 6’5 outside guys.
