Which OU player do you think will be our best guard penetrating to the basket from what little you've seen?

Let's not include Sharane as everyone knows what she can do.

Gioya could be a monster at this, both to score and/or to kick to open players. If she will learn to stay in control and not create turnovers with these drives, she will be a really good player.

I think we have three that can do it consitently. Gioya, Maddie and LaNesia all can and I think be effective.

Going by what we saw the other night I would agree with Carter and L Williams. Between those two, I would pick Williams.

You are assuming she will play enough to contribute. Gioya will play. LaNesia may or may not, but my bet in close games she sits. But she CAN drive to the basket, is athletic, and can sky.

Granted I only saw most of the second half but to me
Lanesia is going to be a weapon.
She has a true mid range game. She's scorer. Total confidence.

Yes, I completely agree. I'm not saying she will play much but I think if we compare her minutes played to others, her ability to get to the rim might be as good or better than the rest of the team. It will be interesting to see how she develops over the next few months.

Well, Sharane does need to improve on getting to the basket without charging so I do not know how she will do this year in getting to the basket. And she and Kay-Kay are the two players whom I root for most, so not dissing her. I agree with all three mentioned and I am not sure yet how much L. Williams will play but she can get to the basket. Tona can also get to the basket, so think she should be added. Waiting to see if she does drive to the basket and then if she scores and/or kicks out.........so i.e., if it results in something positive.
