Gioya

It's her pelvic area. She was on crutches for 6 weeks previously for it

Do you mean she was on crutches earlier this year? Or was that while she was in HS?

We will really miss her every game that tips-off and she can't play. But I too just hope she gets well - however long it takes.

I was worried about Gioya last night when she wasn't even on the bench in street clothes. Then I read in Clay Horning's write-up in this morning's Transcript that she had her wisdom teeth removed yesterday. Ouch! Best wishes to her for a speedy recovery!

Gioya was actually sitting behind the bench, just after the game started, she was helped to the locker room. Looked like she had not fully recovered from her dental surgery. Hope we get to see her soon.

Guess I need to check this message board more often. Wife and I were at the game Friday night and wondered where she was.

She was on crutches for it like 2 months ago. We didn't know she was injured until she came home for the weekend

Is Gioya improving at all, Mr. Carter? It breaks my heart for her that she may not get to play this season. Whatever the case, I hope you'll give her my best wishes for a speedy recovery. Outside of yourself and the rest of her family (and teammates), it's hard for me to imagine there's a bigger Gioya fan out there than yours truly.

There's improvement but won't know anything until conference play about her playing.

Good eye! If she's healthy enough to begin practicing, I'm sure it's going to take a while to get in game shape since it appears she hasn't gotten to do much in a while. We need her though!

Plus, we do not know how much she is actually doing. Maybe we will know more in the next couple of days.
