edit: Put it this way: The report on Goff was in the same story in which Hale broke the news that M'Baye had committed.

The speculation originated from a poster over on OUInsider that has some connections at Hutch and said that there were some rumblings about Goff not being able to qualify at OU. We'll find out soon enough I suppose.

Nothing that I've read about Coach Kruger makes me think he would take a player such as you describe.

Haven't heard anything about his character being an issue? And I thought he changed schools becuase Coach Eck did? I have no idea about his grades, nor would just about anybody else but him and a few others around him...he says he is coming and I was under the impression that he was the first visit that CLK made?

And as far as production in JUCO, he had some pretty solid offers aside from OU when he committed. Not going to say that this guy is the future of the program and is going to come in an light it up, but haven't heard anything bad about his character and the grades thing is speculation. And if the "media" source of "Goff not coming" is the same as "Capel is getting one more year" well, there are some questions there.

I have a hunch we won't really know what is happening until the end of the semester, either with Goff or current OU players that are down at the bottom of the depth chart.

Why would Goff be saying he is coming, but people saying the University has "cut ties" with him?

He has signed a LOI. Wouldn't somebody notify him if there was no longer a schollie waiting on him here? What happens if he qualifies and shows up?

Capel didn't have a problem with a bunch of guys character that other coaches did. Not all coaches but plenty of them.
