Here is his comment from the postgame:

On bouncing back from a turnover late in the second half:
"I usually do not turn the ball over like that. When I make a mistake like that, I usually let it get into my head. But Coach [Lon Kruger] has been working with me for the two years I have been here to stop dwelling on it. Just move on to the next play. I just think I grew up a little bit. I did not dwell on it. I recognized that my team needed me and I had to do something. "

Maybe this is a reason he hasn't been playing much? I noticed vs Baylor, he made a TO then looked really bad the next possession like he'd lost all confidence.

Tonight after he had the turnover on the bad pass, on the timeout, I saw LK trying to calm him and Grooms had a look on his face like he was hanging his head. Kruger then bent down to speak more to him, then the commercial started so maybe Kruger is getting thru to him?

Just a thought.

Sam had a couple of costly turnovers at crucial times of the game, but overall played quite well. With Hornbeak continuing to give the ball up on careless mistakes, it wouldn't surprise me to see Sam's minutes increase some.
