I just researched this info to provide in another thread, but I thought it deserved it's own thread.
Since 1993, 18 seasons, all but ONE of those OU teams had at least a single player end the year with a higher shooting percentage from beyond the arc then Cam has this year (Cam is our current leader).
I know everybody wants to point to the ppg averages of Cade, Pledger, and Cam as evidence that our guard play is fine, but it is not. These guys simply do not hit enough open shots for our offense to be effective. Most fans want OU to go hard after big guys. And while I see a need there, I really don't think you'll see a big turn around in the program until we consistently get better guard play, namely 3 point shooting percentage, and turnovers.
