First thanks to all those who attended and supported this team, you did a great job helping our kids beat :fexas-logo:

Now the reason I'm pissed. Guys I live over 500 miles away, I have had season tickets for football for well over 30 years and when I can't get to a game I either sale them, if they are top games, if not I give them away just to have butts in the seats supporting OU. Today all those donors who have great seats just didn't show up and there were a bunch of empty seats. I'm a donor also, for most sports and education, I don't always buy season tickets to basketball games because they are so hard to give away. What really pisses me off and this applies to donors with the good seats, if you can't make it we understand but give you damn tickets away so we can have butts in the seats.

Agreed 100%. I am a basketball season ticket holder and give every ticket to my brother if I can't make it down from Kansas City. Really frustrating seeing that some of these donors just refuse to support this team. They are so fun to watch.

If someone wants to give tickets away they can call OU Alumni Assoc., The President's Office or Athletics Dept, I do it all the time - on many occasions they will give them to kids who can't afford to go to the games.

Donors get off your butts and support OU not with just your money but with your actions!

LK told us he thought it was going to be full when he spoke to alumni prior to the game. I feel bad for the team and him because they deserve better support.

On the other hand I thought the crowd that did attend was very good and really helped the team.

Per the box score:

Attendance: 12976
Estimated attendance: 9107

Really disappointing. I did think the fans there were more into than normal. So there's that.

I wonder if anyone got caught up in the traffic jam on 35 and just turned around and went home. I left Tulsa at noon. Usually, it takes me about 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to LNC. I didn't pull into the parking lot until 2:20 and I had to get off on Robinson to get there then.

Same feeling here. Thanks to the fans who do show up, it was one of the better crowds this year. But way too many empty seats today, just ridiculous.

There was a wreck on I-35 in Moore that slowed me up 5-10 minutes I got in my seats 1 minute into game and I left home (N. OKC) at 2:15. Traffic shouldn't have been an issue.

I-35 was a parking lot from Tecumpseh to south of Robinson at 2:00.

That's really neat. I wish people were aware of this.
