Hartman and Kruger Wired for Sound

I think this is something very important that can't be underestimated with this group which are the new voices/ideas/philosophies the new coaches bring to this young group. Hartman seems very energetic along with teaching when needed and young coach K sounds like a guy who ran teams from the pg position with his calm, cool demeanor (which we all know is what he did when he played :)). I think this will be a really fun group to watch grow not only from a player stand point but a coaching stand point as well.

I agree Maverick, No one knows Kevin better and what he brings more then the man who raised him. It goes the same way for Kevin knowing his dad's philosophy and understanding what Coach K is trying to accomplish and implement. I also like the fact that Kevin is young and played the point at a high level. He should be a stable solid addition with the potential to grow and learn from one of the best. Hell, if the Sutton's could do it The Kruger's can do it better.

Now Coach Hartman didn't take much selling after I heard him speak. Played at Tulane and professionally awhile. Coached last at Rice might not initially jump off the fans mind as a big time hire until you dig a little deeper. Really impressed with his demeanor and passion. If you are a competitor and want to improve, he is the type of coach I want to play for any day of the week. Carries himself well, confident in his environment and seems like he enjoys engaging the players. I think the players will look up to him in a lot of ways. Has some toughness and fire. I think he will relate and work extremely well within the system. Get him in the homes of recruits and build up those relationships and I think he adds a lot to the program. It well be fun to see the player development with a bunch of hard workers and new blood in the coaching tree.
