Fantastic.

I'm going on a cruise and one of the stops is the Bahamas.

Should I try Buddy's favorite food? :ez-laugh:

Brought a tear to my eye.

Damn, we are going to miss that guy!

I don't even know what to say about him anymore. He is truly one of the all-time greats for the program.

I'm a 65-year-old white guy who's seen just about everything life can throw at you. I'm cantankerous, set in my ways and more than a little cynical.

When a guy like me can feel the pride welling up inside just by reading an article written by a guy I've never met…it must show what a special person I believe Buddy Hield to be.

You'll always be special to Sooner fans, Buddy. And we'll certainly miss you when you're gone.

Hope I am still around and able to go to the arena when OU raises Buddy's jersey to the rafters inside the LNC.

My son is not quite four years old. He LOVES basketball. It's lucky for me, because it helps me teach him non - sports lessons: "You want to be like Serge Ibaka? You know he speaks four languages, so..."

When KD won the MVP, I watched the whole speech with him. To teach him about gratitude. The guy got told he's the world's best basketball player, and he spends 30 minutes THANKING LITERALLY ALL HIS TEAMMATES BY NAME, his coaches, his mom. And I'm so, so glad we have Buddy Hield. He's a fantastic person. Immense character. It so happens he's probably on the OU Hoops Mount Rushmore. What a man.

that KD speech was legendary and everything right with sports.

Hield's article really got to me. a great player but an even better person. Give him the dang Naismith already and i hope he gets to close out his career with a natty!

I know we've let him know how the fans feel at every home game this year. I hope we can overwhelm him with how we feel tomorrow afternoon in the Chesapeake!

Wow! Tremendous piece.

It goes without saying that most college seniors don't write that well. Hell, most college graduates don't write that well.
