Kim Mulkey, master shade thrower:

“In women’s basketball, once you lose it, you’re not getting it back ... I can name some in this league that are struggling to get it back that have won championships.”

There used to be a joke that the most popular team in the US was the team playing Notre Dame.

I would bet that the most popular team in women's basketball is the one playing Baylor. It couldn't be because the rest of basketball doesn't particularly like the coach. Could it?

So do I. But, I think Kim will probably lose in the end. Sherri has something that Kim will never have, the respect of her peers. Nobody will be sorry at Kim's demise. Eventually, coaches will learn to use her recruiting against her, "she gets the best, but never goes to the Final Four any more."

Mulkey was on a role...

Baylor coach Kim Mulkey on freshman PG Alexis Morris: “I would’ve voted her freshman of the year if they’d asked me”

Morris had 18 points, six assists, three turnovers in Baylor’s 94-48 win v TCU.

OU’s Shaina Pellington won the Big 12 Freshman of the Year

I agree. Mulkey has been very jealous of Sherri for a long time. You know what they say, "What goes, around, comes around".

If you want to be respected, you have to earn it. Mulkey doesn't understand why Sherri is beloved (except by OU fans, ---that''s a joke, hopefully), and she is despised. Can you imagine Mulkey taking a team to Haiti to rebuild or to the various build a home projects?

I didn't need more reasons to hate Mulkey. What a classless and arrogant statement. She is truely the scum of women's basketball. I'll gladly take mediocre seasons with coach coale than a win at all costs coach with no regard for decency.

She coaches at Hypocrite U, who has a disgusting culture of Art Briles, Ken Starr, Ian McCaw, etc. She fits in well there. Hypocrite U has a win at all costs culture.

She also can't speak a sentence without the word "I" in it.

Cannot speak for Kim personally but I know that as far back as 2009 Baylor had a sports ministry team that visited Kenya annually and that WBB players were participants. Lindsay Palmer from the 2012 team participated for 4 seasons. I am certain that many other WBB players also participate. I also feel certain Kim would be an active supporter of the sports ministry at the least.

I am so thankful that Madam Dragonfly is not the coach of the Oklahoma Sooners.

This sports ministry that is under fire for defending one of the football players accused of assault?

Even without that, there is a lot of difference between an institutional desire to evangelize in order to expand their membership as opposed to something that is simply an independent act of charity.

No link. So now a christian ministry falls short of an independent charity? Are you going to take on the Pope next in the name of the Syb has spoken? Be careful he too has liberal ideas.

Maybe Sherri is trying to take the attention away from so-so basketball by doing these so called independent act of charity...You see anything can be turned twisted to fit your needs..You seem to have learned that already
