GAME 21 - OKLAHOMA (15-5) vs VANDERBILT (16-4) 2:30pm CST on SEC NETWORK

Really good win! I just need to know if I can get excited about it. Acknowledging that we'll get skull dragged at Auburn... Is this something to get excited about for the future, or will they revert to their mean(like has happened every other time with this regime)? Seriously asking. Everybody lost their * after the Bama blowout a couple of years ago and we all know what happened after that. I just need some of the experts to tell me if it's different this time. Cuz boy I sure would like to!

sadly...i've lost confidence in moser's ability to just win the games he's supposed to win.
just going to enjoy the positive moments we have this season.
it was good to see the players having fun in the second half...

Auburn's been playing with fire. Obviously they're really good but like a poker player who goes for weeks without their aces being cracked by six-four or something. At their place is a tough order but they can't keep pulling out all the close wins. Probably.

In addition to being far better than us, Auburn is another terrible matchup. Very good rebounding team, elite assist to turnover ratio. And Broome is just on a different level. Tennessee uglied the game up and made it close at Auburn, but no one else has kept it in striking distance at their place. Realistically, our week comes down to whether we can beat Tennessee. Their offense has come back to earth since conference play started. It’ll be hard to score against them unless we really shoot well and take care of the ball.

They are #1.

OT: Are SECN games not archived on the ESPN app? I forgot to record today's game but figured I'd access on the app, but I can't find it.

My thoughts are the same as wichita. Don’t see us winning at auburn. Best hope for this week to be successful is play well at auburn and find a way to beat Tennessee. Auburn is good and a bad matchup. Bedt hope is suburn is overconfident and just doesn’t come to play and fears has a michigan game

We have won 3 of the last 4 though and fears looked like he got some confidence back tonight

OU could be 6-2 in conf 19-2 overall and i would still not expect a win on Tuesday at Auburn

Thanks. I am--I usually have no trouble finding the archived games. I'll give it another look.

No luck. I should specify that I'm using the ESPN app on a Roku device (not a Roku TV) and when I search for Oklahoma, I see only upcoming games. When I got into the NCAA Men's Basketball area, as I usually do, and scroll through the on-demand games, I see today's other SEC games but not ours. That's why I wondered if maybe it had to do with our game having been on SECN.

Edit: I found it in the SEC Conference area. Weird, given that the other SEC games were in the NCAA Men's Basketball area.

Was in town from CA for the weekend and went to the game. The crowd looked perhaps 1/2 of capacity at most.
Until the final moments of the 1st half OU's play was ugly. Couldn't inbound the ball, guard against the Vandy 3, had several clock violations but somehow
made it close at the half. Then OU came out at the half and just destroyed Vandy with a combo of defense, hustle, uncanny shooting and all of the sudden a
4 point deficit was a 17 point lead. Dayton was a spark plug and Norweather except for a bad pass did a good job as the big man and Fears and the rest of the shooters went wild and we rebounded. At times you had to think, is the OU team we have been ridiculing for weeks?

Haven’t seen it mentioned here but we tried to hedge/help/recover on ball screens and it ate us up in the first half. Went to switching everything and to me that was the main reason for the big run. Yes, effort was better but it’s a lot easier to give tangible effort when the plays are there to be made. They were just beating our ball screen coverage to death early in the game. There was a period later where they made it clear they were going to try to attack Luke and Porter got him out pretty quick.
