GAME 21 - OKLAHOMA (15-5) vs VANDERBILT (16-4) 2:30pm CST on SEC NETWORK

Things are as never as bad as they seem, nor as good as they seem. Great win, but I’m gonna need to continue seeing this over the next month. One game doesn’t overtake 3.5 years of a sample size. Happy with the win and hope we can keep the momentum going

Seriously.

Their combined effort was the spark OU needed to turn the tide. The box score will show it as Moore and/or Fears, mostly, and they were really good but the game changed, in large part, due to Duke's/Dayton's effort and energy. They were dogs and they wanted the W. That energy transferred, IMO, to Moore/Fears/Taylor/etc.
Agree 100%. We need that packaged and repeated for the rest of the season.

Like everyone else, I imagine, I was very frustrated by the first 15 minutes of today's game (I don't know why Moser can't have his teams ready to play, but poor starts are a pattern of long standing for him), but from late in the first half forward, what a terrific game this was. We could do no wrong, and it was a joy to watch.

I found it frustrating early in the season when some were prematurely writing off some players (especially Forsythe and Taylor), but it's been great to see both continue to contribute (and Dayton really coming into his own). Godwin continues to be the communal punching bag, but there has to be one every season, it seems.

We've still got a very rough road ahead of us and it's painful to think about some of the games we let get away, but we're 16-5 and #33 in Kenpom, so I'm just going to try to just enjoy the moment (since we have two of our biggest challenges of the season coming up next).

Anyone remember the Sooners ever going on a longer unaswered scoring streak than 23, as they did today?

I can't, but memory for the specifics of games gone by is much worse than many of you.

Moved up from 40 to 33 KenPom. Let’s hope we can be competitive Tuesday and not give much of that back. If so, this was a big day.

My favorite WS post so far.

He reminds me of a more athletic Tim Heskett.

Honestly, Heskitt is way more Goodine than Dayton. He was a spot up shooter.

Dayton is more Keaton Page.
