GAME 22 - OKLAHOMA (16-5) @ #1 AUBURN (20-1) 8:00pm CST on SEC NETWORK

I don’t mind loosing by 30 to a quality team. I don’t even mind that team having fun and showing off. But Auburn went little far in some antics, like taking a knee and pretending to be hurt to get subbed out during live ball, At least 2 time camera showed guy do his thumbs down routine right in front of ou player, and # 10 and his antics. It’s hard to watch. But I will admit if we were #1 doing that I probably would enjoy it as a fan.
I would not. I'd be more pissed that our guys are asshats

Didn’t really pay attention to the game last night but it’s kinda a reality check for us. The Vandy game was so much fun but this team still has quite an uphill battle to make the tournament. OU squandered the easy part of the schedule and now is in such a deep hole. 🙁

Easy part of the schedule? There isn’t one. Squandered one game we should have won and blew a game we were winning that we had no business winning. That’s the truth.

Still think 3 more wins gets us in. Split with Mizzou, beat one of the Mississippis and beat LSU. Grab one other and we are a lock. And that doesn’t include anything in the conference tourney.

It was early in the second half, and I loved how hard we were fighting even though we were down 12-15 points. Then one possession demoralized me. Auburn missed both free throws, and we couldn't secure the rebound and the ball went out of bounds. They proceeded to miss a jump shot, and Northweather was in position for the rebound, but was out-muscled. They kick it out and bury a 3-pointer. That was when I waived the proverbial white flag...and I think the team did as well.

I remember after the Michigan game (which I attended) when the lady who went with me said OU was a really good team. I told her we don't have any legit post players so there were going to be struggles. Since Michigan had two really good ones and we still beat them, I thought we would at least be better than what we have shown since that game...but it's probably asking too much to expect a guy who should still be in high school to carry us.

Which game was the one they had no business winning? At home against AM who was without their best player? If that’s the case then you must not really think OU is tournament team. That’s a game OU should have won.

Have to beat Kentucky or Tennesee at home along with that. Getting beat by nearly 30 is no good though. The spread was 17.5.

As expected. This team and coaching staff really suck on the road. A lot of good teams are getting blown out by near 30 on the road in this conference this season. Move on and win the home games.

On their post game summary cbssports writes ‘Oklahoma couldn’t keep up in the paint losing 46-20’. Thanks cap’n obvious!

I want to offer to PM a group of 5 Oklahoma Hoops board members to help him in his portal selection to GET MORE ATHLETIC PLAYERS! He obviously has no clue. He would rather get guys with nice looking jump shots with no quickness, hops or speed. That will not fly any longer. The gap between OU and Auburn was frighteningly wide.

Yep, you can’t feel too bad about the loss. We had nothing for Auburn. Like I said in the game thread, we have a total of two guys who would make their depth chart.

I couldn’t believe when they said Miles almost went to Auburn. I don’t see him fitting it at all on that team. He would be lucky to play a few minutes game for them.

Our matchup issue with A&M isn’t their best player.

ESPN’s model gives us a 45 percent chance of making the tournament. The blurb said their model is more skeptical of us than most, and it’s because of the significant increase in the difficulty of the schedule, beginning last night.

Saturday seems like a must-win. If we lose, we would have to run the table at home the rest of the way to get to 7 conference wins. Moser has never shown the ability to put together a consistent stretch like that in conference play, even at home. A loss Saturday and we have zero margin for error.
