I do not understand why Brown is the complete and utter focal point of the offense during these late game situations. It’s like the entire design is for Brown to just make something happen. And it isn’t working.

I really liked Duke, and had we not got Fears late…I think he would have put up similar numbers at OU, like he is this season. Same situation…you add Fears to Vandy’s roster, and Duke isn’t scoring near as much.

As far as Pack, I’d take today’s Pack over Duke…although packs defense is lazy at times. The late layup by Barrett is a good example. I don’t like the Pack from the previous 3+ games. It sure would have been nice to have Duke on the bench over Dayton, but that was never gonna happen. He’s too good for a bench role.

Who cares what he shot as a freshman? He's a junior now and he's shooting 45% from deep. And Mizzou had at least two other guys on the floor who shoot the three just as well. You have to foul in backcourt. Toby Rowland was saying, "Surely he's going to have them foul." (Not a direct quote, but close.)

I would have fouled as well. It’s worth the risk. I was simply saying that pierce hit a low % shot. They hit two low % shots. Should they have even been given that chance, that’s a different topic. If this loss helps more with getting a coaching change, then it maybe for the best.

Players should have just fouled that kid at the end of regulation instead of allowing him to hit a three. Hell, if your players are smarter than your coach just go against your coach if you know it's going to make a difference in the outcome. It's almost like Moser is looking for new, creative ways to lose games... To the extent that by the time he leaves this program is in a much worse State than it was when he got here

Duke plays on a top 20 team with an outstanding PG who leads the team in scoring and takes more shots per game than Duke. They have another guy averaging 15 ppg. So the notion that he isn’t willing to play on a team where he isn’t “the” guy seems unfounded. Of course, it helps playing for a coach who, unlike Loser, plays at a very fast pace so there are plenty of shots to go around and guys have plenty of offensive freedom. Yet another MMM failure.

No reason we couldn't have rolled out 3 starting guards.. either push Reid to the 5 and sit Wague (might have been smart anyway to avoid his common early stupid foul, although at this point I think hes not better than the Russian..) or tae to the bench

Its not like we rebound anyway with the current taller lineup

I could see that. Play small ball with those 3 guards and Davis and Reid at the forwards. You couldn’t play them together all the time, but you could against certain matchups.

While I don't know the full context of his 2 HC schools, and i appreciate hes won at least 20 his last 4 seasons and likely this one for 5 in a row, id like someone with a better overall win %. Hes in Loser Moser land

He's coached in worse places than Porter ever did. UTA, especially when they were in the Southland Conference, was as bad as it gets and he won there.

Again, I'm operating under the assumption that OU isn't going to swing for fences on this hire. I trust Trilly, but he hasn't dug more deeply into our job on this search go-round. He just knows Porter is gone.

Idk that I trust Trilly. Didn't he say there was something to the Loser to nova laughable stuff last year too?
