GAME 20 - OKLAHOMA (11-8) @ MISSOURI (13-6) 1:00pm CST on ESPN2

Olen is growing on me as a good candidate. Was great at San Diego when they were lower level, then had them at the top of their conference by years four and five after they made the massive transition to D-1. And now he has New Mexico in the thick of the conference race in his first year with a new roster, in a tougher league than he had ever coached in before. They are in the 40s in KenPom and NET.

In sum, he has won consistently, done very well in his conferences, and quickly succeeded when moving up rungs on the coaching ladder. Kind of the anti-Moser.

Oh, I'd take him in a heartbeat. He'll probably get better offers. But we should make him say no.

People keep saying this, but what other power conference jobs are likely to be open this season?
Oregon. Dana Altman is rumored to be retiring. It's remote, but they have Nike money.

Providence is the buzz on Trilly's server. It's not a football school, but they love basketball, they're in the Big East, and they're well supported.

TCU - Jamie Dixon is rumored to be retiring.

These won't be the only ones.

Hot Seat Report - 18 College Basketball Coaches on the Hot Seat

Could see quite a few from this list being fired... and could see Matt McMahon from LSU for sure if it continues this way. So there will likely be lots of schools competing for a small list of quality candidates imo.

Sounds like LSU may give him another year.

They're spending so much on football, they probably can't afford to buy him out. Just give him a little more NIL and see how he does. Sort of like we did with Porter this year.

Extra special shoutout to the absolute drunk wt OU fan that celebrated a little too early twice that sat directly behind me. My favorite being when he referred to Mark Mitchell as a monkey right before he drained the game winner.

The fact that you wasted time creating an account just to say that to a bunch of apathetic OU fans on an online forum is wild. Nobody cares. We just want the season to end. A lot like MU fans when ya’ll went 0-18 in conference not long ago at all.

Yeah, it took the same amount of time to register and make a post as it did for these two WT racist OU scumbags to drive all the way from Broken Arrow to CoMo just to cheer on the season to end.

Oh wow fans being a holes. You must be new to sports. Talk to us when MU wins an NCAA tournament game.

Look, I think it was widely accepted in the old Big 12 days that Mizzou had by far the worst fans. By worst, I don’t mean most passionate or biggest supporters of their team. I mean actually vile human beings. But while much of their fan base has no room to talk, I think we should call care if even a single OU fan is tossing around racist language, whether the fan is drunk or not. I’m not saying that guy reflects the entire fan base, but it’s still embarrassing. So if the story is true, it’s awful and I wish the guy had been thrown out of their game, regardless of how many awful human beings are standing in the crowd wearing Mizzou gear.

Changing the subject any news on the game tomorrow night? I’m stuck in Austin, came down to help my brother having surgery, and won’t try to get back to Norman til Wednesday at the earliest.

Agreed. But to post go post about it on an OU basketball forum is lame. Like any of us can do anything about it.
