Choo Kennedy was another very effective rebounder at about 6-5. Everyone in OKC had a running joke about if he got his butt into you, you could never dislodge him or grab a rebound over the top of him. He was always against taller PFs.I'm old, but anybody remember Jerome Lane of Pitt back in the day? 6-6 and led the nation in rebounding. We had a guy named Cheese Davis back in the late 80s or early 90s that also was 6-5 or 6-6 and may have led us in rebounding. Dude was thick and muscular. Maybe someone's already brought up Ernie Abercrombie..
